An American pilot found an unusual way to wait for GTA 6. Benjamin McDaniel, known as The Pilot Picasso, spent around eight hours flying to turn his aircraft’s route into a drawing inspired by the game.
He shared the result on November 6. On the map, the flight path spells Grand Theft Auto VI alongside a helicopter, palm trees, a car, an alligator and a woman holding a pistol.
A Cessna became the pencil
According to the pilot, the tribute took eight hours of flying. His description of his work explains that he flies each drawing manually and alone in his Cessna 182RG, registration N1810R.
The picture exists in the line recording the aircraft’s journey. It is not a smoke drawing visible from the ground. The result appears on the tracking map, where turns and changes of direction become the illustration’s outlines.

His video speeds up that process. The line advances and gradually reveals the elements until the GTA 6 composition is complete.
A gallery made from flight paths
McDaniel’s website displays other work in the same format. The collection includes the Mona Lisa, The Scream, Spider-Man and a Skyrim tribute.
The pilot says he began flying in 2020. The drawings started as a way to build flight hours and stay in practice, progressing from words and simple shapes to detailed compositions.
This time, the wait for Vice City inspired a tribute with plenty of room on the map.
