Will your computer run GTA 6? It is already a familiar question, but there is no official answer yet. As of November 8, 2026, Rockstar has not published minimum or recommended PC requirements.

According to Rockstar’s official pages, the November 19 launch is announced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The company has not confirmed a release date for a PC version either.

What are the minimum requirements?

No PC processor, graphics card, RAM capacity, operating system or storage requirement has been announced. There is therefore no official component list against which to check a computer.

Installation requirements published for consoles do not establish the storage space a possible PC edition would need. They concern different platforms.

What about the recommended configuration?

Recommended specifications also remain unknown. Rockstar has not validated a processor and graphics card combination for playing on PC at 1080p, 1440p or 4K, nor announced an official FPS target for that platform.

A useful recommendation needs to specify graphics settings, resolution and expected performance. Without those details, a list of components is only an estimate, even if it includes powerful hardware.

Can you choose parts yet?

Anyone planning to build or upgrade a computer exclusively for GTA 6 still lacks the information needed to choose a configuration with guaranteed performance. That answer depends on a PC announcement and its specifications.
