GTA’s character falls have become material for a wrestling montage. Reddit user u/KuniKitsu posted a video using jumps and collisions to create movements resembling wrestling moves.
According to the creator, the footage was captured in GTA Online. The preview frame shows two characters on the ground in a wrestling-like position, on a painted surface without a ring around them.
Timing the jump
In the comments, KuniKitsu explained that the moves depend on jumping at the right moment, repeated attempts and some luck. He described rolling off an edge or jumping just before receiving a punch as two situations used in the clips.
These actions make use of how bodies react to impact. The outcome depends on characters meeting, height and the timing of each movement.
The author says the montage’s falls are not forced through a separate command. His explanation attributes the movements to collisions and actions performed within the game.
A few minutes can take months
KuniKitsu said he has made this kind of content for around 13 years, with a break during university. A three- or four-minute montage can take approximately three months to complete.
Some sessions produce several successful moves, while others deliver none of the desired results. After the attempts come editing in Rockstar Editor and work on the video’s pacing.
The creator collects other clips in r/GTAwrestling. For him, landing a good move rewards the repetition viewers do not see in the finished edit.
