Photos of a purported GTA 6 PS5 box began circulating on November 7, drawing attention to a detail on the back. The photographed packaging lists a minimum of 230 GB of storage and displays three game images.

According to MP1st, Reddit user u/IseeIceTea posted the pictures and said they worked in retail. The photos later spread on Twitter. Rockstar has not confirmed the packaging’s authenticity.

The front and back

The front uses a panelled illustration, with Jason and Lucia together near the top and other scenes around the logo. A German notice near the bottom says the box contains a game download code and no disc.

The back features artwork of the protagonists and three smaller images. One shows Lucia aiming a pistol, another depicts an aircraft over water, and the third features Jason.

Printed icons include one player, online functions, in-game purchases, vibration and trigger support, as well as PS5 Pro optimisation branding.

The 230 GB figure remains unconfirmed

The 230 GB label appears in the specifications row. As the photos have not been authenticated, it should be treated as information on the purported packaging rather than replacing an official storage requirement.

The online and in-game purchase icons do not explain which features would be available. The photograph alone does not confirm a multiplayer mode at launch.

GTA 6 is scheduled for November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The pictures offer a possible early look at the retail box, while its printed details await confirmation.
