GTA 6 advertisements have reached Tokyo’s giant screens. A video by @Genki_JPN, shared by GTA VI Countdown on November 3, documents an installation the account describes as a nine-billboard campaign in the Japanese capital.

The image accompanying the footage shows the game’s artwork high on a building beside another curved screen. The Grand Theft Auto VI name sits in the centre, surrounded by characters and scenes.

The display shows a colourful collage featuring vehicles and the protagonists. A Japanese release date appears along the bottom, corresponding to November 19, 2026.

The photograph shows the screen’s scale against windows, shops and signs on the floors below. Blue, pink and orange artwork stands out against the night sky.

Reaching Japanese audiences

Alongside the locally formatted date, the advertisement carries Rockstar branding and PS5 identification. It adapts the game’s visual presentation to a large urban advertising space.

GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Tokyo footage shows one way Jason, Lucia and Leonida are appearing beyond console screens before release.
