Jason and Lucia have a giant mural in central Melbourne, Australia. According to Press Start, the painting was still in progress in photographs Smallo posted on X on November 1. The Grand Theft Auto name appears above the protagonists.
Where is the painting?
The mural is at the corner of Collins Street and Elizabeth Street. The photographs show the junction and the facade, where the painting fills a vertical strip between windows and a neighbouring building.
The record shows the mural taking shape
The close-up reveals a suspended platform above and unfinished outlines lower down. The protagonists’ faces are already colored against a pink background with birds and foliage, while parts of their clothing await finishing. It offers a look at a familiar illustration being translated to wall scale.
At that stage, the painting was around 80% complete. Smallo said he planned to return to photograph the finished work.
