Imagine walking past a street display and finding an advert that seems to have escaped from GTA. According to Creative Bloq, Miami photographs show fictional brands including Weazel News, nightclub The Vault and carmaker Pfister.
Its October 21 report gathers images shared by creators including Joel Franco. Examples appear in this story's cover photograph.
The joke works outside the game too
Rockstar’s fictional companies appear in the same spaces used by real advertisers. Fans recognise the game reference, while other pedestrians might mistake the displays for ordinary Miami adverts.
