Actors who played GTA protagonists have advice for the new cast. According to GamesRadar+, they spoke at MCM Comic Con about their relationship with fans and how life changes after joining one of gaming’s best-known series.
GTA 5’s Michael actor, Ned Luke, recommended enjoying the experience. Franklin actor Shawn Fonteno stressed the importance of listening to Rockstar, while San Andreas’s CJ actor, Young Maylay, advised the newcomers to prepare for the attention.
Fans stay with the cast
Trevor actor Steven Ogg also took part. Young Maylay recalled that GTA 5’s cast did not end fans’ affection for CJ. He believes new protagonists can win fans while the audience keeps its connection with earlier characters.
With Jason and Lucia’s arrival, the new performers will become part of that relationship with players too. The veterans know it can last for years after release.
